Pentecost Revival Choir Band started rehearsing in January 2003. Since then Chosen has grown to be an energic, swinging choir. The Pentecost Revival Choir Band has 4 lead singers and 16 members, the Pentecost Revival Choir Band Band has 7 members. All under the direction of Reverent Emmanuel Koney.
Gospel is our life!
We love the beat, the rhythm, the energy and the fun we get from it. But what makes gospel music extra special is that we can tell everybody about the love God has for them. And that is what we all want most! Gospel music brings people together to share their love of God and their love of music. We hope to plant a seed of His love in our listener's hearts.
A concert of Pentecost Revival Choir Band can be described as quite an experience; you will find it hard to stay seated when you listen to the enthusiastic, energetic choir.
Experience
By now Pentecost Revival Choir Band has become well-known in Dutch gospel land and has performed at festivals, in theatres and several religious services. In January 2003 Pentecost Revival Choir Band performed Live in Concert', in Heineken Music Hall (Gospel festival 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008)
The critics were positive and the reactions from the audience heartwarming. People told us Pentecost Revival Choir Band touched their hearts and that is something special. Solist Mercia Rosheuvel sang an energetic version of the song 'Kwesi Kwesi Kwa Buna Gala' and established Pentecost Revival Choir Band on the Dutch gospel scene.
Biography
Pentecost Revival Choir Band has 20 singers and the Pentecost Revival Choir Band exists of 7 members. All this under the musical direction of Rev. Emmanuel Koney.
Rev. Emmanuel Koney, who is Ghanian from origin, has played in well-known in black Gospel in Holland and arranged songs for several famous Dutch and African artists, such as Mercia Rosheuvel, Abraham Luke, Grace Mcarthy and JVC. He featured on Dutch TV (De wereld draait door, Korenslag, Tijd voor Max en Evangelische Omroep). Rev. Emmanuel Koney is a very famous Charismatic Preacher and the Chairman of Pentecostal Council of Churches of Holland.
